Village Hall – What’s On

Village Hall – What’s On

Wetwang Village Hall Management Committee Annual General Meeting         Thursday 26th October 2017 at 7:30pm

Do you value your village hall? Do you know how it is run? New committee members are needed to help. Can you Spare the time to attend one evening meeting a month? Your input is vital to the continuing success of this village amenity. We already have a caretaker, a cleaner and an administrator so any tasks that come up in the future will be minor ones – you would not be expected to take on a specific role but we do need some new faces and ideas to carry the Village Hall forward and help with the Scarecrow Festival in particular. If you feel you have something to offer or if you just want to know what we do – please come to the Annual General Meeting where you will hear what is involved and how you could help.

Wetwang Day of Garage Sales

The annual Day of Garage Sales in Wetwang is Sunday 20th August 2017 from 8am. The Village Hall will be open from 8am for maps of the sales, bacon butties and cuppas. Garage Sales will be spread throughout Wetwang so pop to the Hall first to grab a map. The Garage Sales usually finish around 1-2pm.

Wetwang Village Show 2017

Due to unforeseen circumstances the Wetwang Show Committee has sadly decided to cancel the show this year. After a continuous run of 21 years it has not been an easy decision to make. Our show has always been well managed and the committee feels that, given the short time remaining, it would be impossible to organise the show this year to our usual high standard.
The Committee would like to thank all those who have contributed and helped in past years and hope that with more help and support it may continue next year.
